Our client is a major Investment Bank who have recently acquired a major competitor and are looking for an Finance Integration Specialist.

The individual will be given large responsibility for our client’s current project and integration piece. The candidate will need to manage all Finance change initiatives across all integration activities and strategic optimisation activities. This will include co-ordination with global change programmes as appropriate. The role will require close collaboration with senior management and senior stakeholders from the business and other support functions. The successful candidate will be involved with project & task planning, full project life-cycle tasks for technology developments (requirements gathering, specifications, testing, implementation etc), issue identification, tracking and resolution. Problem solving and developing innovative solutions, business process re-engineering and operating model analysis. You will be closely working with managers and staff across Finance, Technology, Operations, Front Office, HR and other departments. You must have strong proven background and experience working as Finance project manager with large scale change projects and cross-border exposure. A strong Investment Banking pedigree is a must. You will have a good understanding of how Finance functions (strong preference that you have come from an accountancy background) and experience of working on systems related projects within an investment banking or corporate banking arena. The scope of the project is extremely large so understanding of the types of local statutory and regulatory requirements in multiple countries. Additionally ideally you will have strong experience of business process re-engineering/operating model design. You will have experience of business re-organisations and experience of working with different cultures in different locations. Strong comprehension of technology - an ability to identify system and control problems and deal with complex technical and system issue is extremely helpful.
