Gavin Bonnet
Managing Director and Head of EMEA Business Management and Controls
Prior to embarking on his executive search career, Gavin worked as an economist on Phillips and Drew's South-East Asian desk. He then went on to spend some 6 years in derivatives sales. A founder-member of Correlate Search, Gavin has developed a particular expertise in risk and compliance and all areas of corporate governance. He is a graduate of the City of London School of Business.
Simon Vaughan-Edwards
Managing Director and Head of EMEA Global Markets
Simon began his executive search career in 1997 when he joined a financial markets boutique, Stephens International. In 2000, he moved to Correlate Search where he is now responsible for the firm's Global Markets activities across CEEMEA. His own specialisation is within cash equity and equity derivative and Prime Brokerage markets. Prior to entering executive search, Simon had a successful career in the British Army.
Niall MacDonald
Managing Director, Hong Kong
Niall joined Correlate Search in 2009 to expand our Investment Banking and Global Markets practices in Asia. He has broad market experience and has completed searches in markets, IB and wealth management across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Previously he spent four years at Whitney Group in Asia. He was also a partner and head of fixed income and structured products for Odgers Ray and Berndtson and The Berwick Group in London. Before entering executive search, he was a member of the corporate finance teams of County NatWest and Charterhouse Bank in London. He also worked in Johannesburg, initially for a law firm and then in the corporate finance division of Barclays National Merchant Bank, Niall is a Barrister-at-Law and a member of King's Inns, Dublin and Grays Inn, London.
Russell Kopp
Managing Director, Hong Kong
Russell joined Correlate Search in 2009 to expand our Global Markets and Wealth Management practices in Asia. Previously he spent a year at Whitney Group, where he transitioned into search after 20 years on the sell-side. Equity research was his primary focus, but he also held roles in equities sales, corporate finance/M&A, strategic planning and senior management. He has over a decade of Asian experience in Hong Kong, China, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, India and Pakistan, in addition to roles in London and the US. He was educated at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and Manchester Business School's MBA programme.
Matthew Lewis
Managing Director, Dubai
Matthew Lewis has over fifteen years' international executive search and selection experience. After graduating with an honours degree in Property he worked for a small executive search boutique in global property and pharmaceuticals living in London and Hong Kong. In 1995 Matthew joined Hays plc and set up Hays International and Hays Executive Search and recruited into over 25 countries world wide in various sectors including Construction, Property, Retail, Leisure, Oil and Gas and FMCG. From 1999 - 2004 he worked for PSD Group plc to drive the growth of their UK division recruiting Board Directors into leading International blue-chip companies. In 2004 Matthew was headhunted by Imprint plc to run the Board Search practice at WoodHamill, focusing on roles at CEO, COO and MD levels within large public and Private Equity backed companies before transferring to the Dubai office of WoodHamill in 2007 as Director, hiring executives for major local and international companies accross the Middle East and Africa. He joined Correlate Search in 2009 as Managing Director of the Dubai office responsible for the regional growth of the business whilst delivering C and D level mandates for Sovereign Wealth Funds and Private Equity clients.
