Correlate Search combines sector specialist consultants with dedicated, in-house researchers.

Our consultants are mainly ex-financial markets professionals with comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of their markets. Working in support of them are internationally based, multi-lingual teams of highly experienced research professionals.
In both London and Dubai our teams are recognised as leaders in their sectors. Individually they are recognised for their excellence; collectively they are a powerful international team providing global reach for clients across EMEA.

Colleen Quilty

Executive Director

Colleen joined Correlate Search in 1999 to establish their commodities practice. She covers senior level mandates in trading, sales, origination, structuring and analytics as well as related management positions. Her mandates are executed on a global basis for clients which include financial institutions and trading companies. Colleen commenced her commodities search career in 1996 with a City of London boutique practice. The earlier part of her career was spent in trading agricultural commodities for a French trading house.

Simon Head

Head of Fixed Income

Simon Head is responsible for Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange. Before entering executive search, Simon worked at Citibank and JP Morgan. He joined Correlate Search (then known as Alexander Mann Financial Markets) in 1998 in order to build the firm's operations practice. In 2002, he established the firm's FX practice and has an extensive track record of placements in G10 and local currency trading, FX and EM structuring, Institutional & Corporate FX sales, EM Product Sales, and FX and EM Strategy. He was also responsible, in 2004, for project-managing the build-out of Correlate's EMEA research product. Simon holds an MSc Economics and a degree in French & Economics.

Karl-Heinz Seul

Director, Front/Middle Office Technology

Karl-Heinz joined Correlate Search then known as Alexander Mann Global Markets in 2000 in order to help build the firm's Technology practice. Before re-joining Correlate in 2010, he worked for Options Group, a Capital Markets Front Office Search firm, building their Technology practice from scratch within the EMEA region. Karl-Heinz has executed mandates in the areas of Program Management, Project Management, Business Analysis Systems Development, Analyst Development etc. His mandates are executed globally for clients across the Financial Services sector as well as Technology firms selling to the Banking industry. Karl holds a BSc in Business Management from Cologne University

Tom Crowfoot

Group Head of Research and Operations 

Tom began his executive search career in 2000 when he joined Sheffield Haworth covering Equity and Equity Derivative products and became the firm's first Head of Research. In 2004 he joined Correlate Search as Head of Research; in 2006 he moved to CTPartners to help build and develop their research and execution platform and rejoined Correlate Search in September 2008. Tom's specialisation is within the Equity, Equity Finance and Prime Brokerage arena. Before moving into executive search Tom worked in the recruitment industry after a successful career in the British Army.

Andrew Lynch

Director

Andrew joined Correlate Search in February 2007 and is a Director within the Investment Banking Practice, focusing on general corporate finance and M&A with an additional expertise in Infrastructure and Natural Resources related industry sectors. Andrew's career in search began in 1999 at a dedicated M&A search boutique.  He graduated in English Literature from the University of Wales.

Charles Hutchins

Director

Charles began his career in 1999 when he joined Robert Walters. There, he spent three years covering the senior accounting markets in the City. In 2002 he joined Correlate Search EMEA Business Management and Controls desk where he now specialises in the recruitment of senior financial officers and business managers. Charles has a degree in Engineering from Newcastle University.

David Newhouse

Director

David joined Correlate Search then known as Alexander Mann Global Markets in 1996 in order to help build the firm's Risk Management and Quant Analytics practice. In 1999 he left to set up a small boutique equity hedge fund in Hong Kong and Cyprus. He has returned in 2010 and is responsible for Risk, Quants and HFT. David holds a degree in Management Science from Swansea University.

Ikenna Iroche

Fixed Income & Emerging Markets

Ikenna focuses on front office roles in fixed income, credit and structured finance.  He also has responsibility for emerging markets coverage specialising in the frontier economies of Sub Saharan Africa.  Prior to joining Correlate Search in April 2007 Ikenna spent three years at a boutique City search firm focusing on credit derivatives and structured credit sales and trading. Before that, he worked for a large, international search firm for four years, covering a variety of sectors including telecoms, technology and private banking. Ikenna graduated from the London School of Economics in 1999 with a BSc in Economics.

Matthew Hutchin

Associate Director

Matthew joined Correlate Search in 2010 to focus on compliance and corporate governance.  Matthew has considerable experience within the industry going back to 1984 where he initially focused on servicing major blue chip corporates in the TMT space then specialising in Finance appointments, before establishing his own West End boutique consultancy. Matthew has been specialising in Compliance and Audit within financial services since 2007 and headed the Compliance Desk offering at a boutique search firm aimed at servicing investment banks.  A graduate of Queen Mary College, London Matthew is also qualified in Psychometric testing.  

Caroline Basham

Director

Caroline Basham is a Director in our Hong Kong office. She focuses on Wealth Management (traditional investment management, hedge funds and prime broking). She focuses on front office buy side senior executives, in particular, CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, CROs, portfolio managers, analysts, sales and marketing professionals. Caroline joined Correlate in 2010 to expand the Wealth Management practice in Asia.  She was previously a consultant with another financial services search boutique in Hong Kong. She has over 15 years investment industry experience.  Before search, she worked in Equity Research Sales in the region for UBS and BNP. She has spent 6 years in Hong Kong and a brief period in Taiwan at the start of her career.  She has also previously worked in Europe with Merrill Lynch and Bank of China. She is a British national, who graduated in English and drama from the University of Hull.

Vuthy Penn

Director

Vuthy joined Correlate in 2009 to expand the practice in Asia. Previously, he was with Whitney Group which he joined in 2004. He has broad market experience and has completed searches in equities, debt, investment banking, real estate and private equity in Asia. Prior to joining Whitney, he worked for 6 years with a global financial services recruitment company in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong covering regional work that encompassed equities, debt and private equity assignments.  He initially graduated in Econometrics from the University of Manchester. He then studied as a Barrister at the College of Law and Lincoln's Inn before being seconded to the Legal and Compliance department of SBC Warburg in London.

Cherrie Brotonel

Associate

Cherrie joined Correlate Search in 2009 to expand our execution capacity, Previously she spent two years at Whitney Group as a Research Associate, participating in numerous Global Markets and Investment Banking searches. Prior to that, she worked as an account executive in a telecommunications firm and spent four years in radio news broadcasting in Hong Kong. Cherrie is a Filipino national and holds a BA in Film & Audio Visual Communications from the University of the Philippines

Namrata Theisen

Associate

Namrata joined Correlate Search in 2009 to expand our execution capacity. Prior to this she was a Research Associate at Whitney Group, participating in numerous searches within Wealth Management and Global Markets. Prior to her relocation to Hong Kong in early 2007, she was the regional manager at Vodafone Rental based in Auckland. Namrata graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Marketing and Advertising.

Zeina Mattar

Associate Director

Zeina joined Correlate Search in 2007. She has six years of fixed income structuring experience, more recently with ABN AMRO in London in commercial mortgage-backed securitisations. Zeina started her career at Citigroup in NewYork in syndicated leveraged loans. Zeina holds an MBA from INSEAD, an M.Phil in European Studies from Cambridge University and a BA in German Literature from Barnard College, Columbia University. She specialises in Private Equity, Investment Banking and Global Markets. Zeina is fluent in French, German and Arabic.
