Jonathan Sorrell has been appointed to the board of MAN GROUP as finance director, less than a year after leaving GOLDMAN SACHS, where he was an MD. He joined MAN at the end of August 2011 as head of strategy and corporate finance, to work with the company’s executive committee to formulate strategy and to execute board decisions. Jonathan takes over his new role from Kevin Hayes, who was re-elected as a board director at MAN’s AGM in May 2012, but who is now leaving the firm after five years in the role.
