Guggenheim rhires three for healthcare investment banking team

GUGGENHEIM PARTNERS has recruited three healthcare bankers for its healthcare investment banking and advisory team. These are: Stuart Duty, Ron Gerber and Barry Shin, who will all be based in NYC and join an existing team led jointly by Alan Schwartz, executive chairman of GUGGENHEIM PARTNERS and former CEO of BEAR STEARNS, and Ken Springer, senior MD. All three join from PIPER JAFFRAY, where Stuart was co-head of healthcare investment banking. He joins GUGGENHEIM as a senior MD with responsibility for helping to build the healthcare practice; with Ron joining as an MD and Barry a VP.
