Marex Spectron hires head of algorithmic FX trading

MAREX SPECTRON has continued to grow its FX franchise by hiring Sam Horowitz as head of algorithmic FX trading. He is charged with re-engineering the firm’s e-FX solutions in line with the overall electronic strategy of the firm, especially in connection with the intelligent risk management of the group’s FX flows. Most recently, Sam was a senior algorithmic FX trader at LLOYDS BANK, which he joined from the FX subsidiary of broker LOUIS CAPITAL MARKETS, where he was head of emerging market and spot FX trading. He has also worked at UBS GLOBAL ASSET MANAGEMENT and Dutch lender RABOBANK.
