The LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE GROUP has just made a couple of high-profile hires for its senior management team and board. These are: Alexander Justham, who is a former director of markets at the FSA, who joins in a newly-created role as CEO of the LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE PLC. This role will include responsibility for regulatory strategy, government and public affairs, and UK regulation across the whole group. He will also join the executive committee. And David Warren joins the LSE’s board as its CFO, replacing Doug Webb (see elsewhere in this newsletter). Previously, David was NASDAQ OMX’s CFO between 2001 and 2009, but, most recently, was special adviser to NASDAQ OMX’s CEO Bob Greifeld.
